Albert Vernon Grant, Jr.

Albert Vernon Grant, Jr., 70, of Pink Hill passed away at his home surrounded by his daughters on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.

He loved his family and especially his grandchildren and his pets. Albert was an avid Civil War history buff. He loved working in his yard and tinkering around in his workshop. He was a great son, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend and he will be missed dearly.

Albert is preceded in death by his father, Albert Vernon Grant, Sr.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Rosemary Rouse; daughters, Beth G. Lane, Kristie G. Marquard, Jessica G. Futrell and husband Jason; son, Alan Ipock; grandchildren, Trenton D. Marquard, Kenneth Vernon, Kelsey Kennedy, Tyler E. Marquard, Kameron Duff, Glenwood Harrold and wife Phoebe, Bryce S. Adams, Lily Girl Bostic, Sarabeth B. Adams, Kirklan Ipock; great grandchildren, Addison, Zander, Dawson, Oakley, Mason, Myles; sister, Rachel Hill and husband Bruce; three nephews and one niece; special friends, Shannon Kennedy and Brandon Whitfield.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 1, 2024 at Garner Funeral Home.
